Tracey Roberts is one of the rare breed of singer-songwriters whose emotive and stylish performances consistently hold audiences spellbound.

She's also one of Melbourne's most talented and versatile pianists whose original songs are a mix of colourful, story-like lyrics and a rich, musical style (...described as a fascinating fusion of adult-contemporary, jazz-infused pop and folk, with hints of blues and cabaret.)

Her vocals are smooth, warm and eloquent, a big voice ranging from full-on blasts to a delicate whisper - coupled with her melodic songs, her theatrical performances are delivered with a passion and energy that totally captivates her listeners.

With nearly 20 years of musical experience and touring internationally, she has recorded 6 CDs, done TV appearances and a multitude of radio interviews, and performs regularly at concerts and festivals as well as private and corporate events.

Her ability to easily harmonise and accompany other singers and musicians is also exceptional and she often performs in various collaborations with other artists in both live and recording contexts.

She is currently launching and promoting her latest CD, Parallel Universe which is out now.

Tracey performs not only as a solo singer-pianist but in also in folk, pop and jazz combos (has regularly performed with Lachlan Davidson / Tony Buchanan on saxes, Gary Costello / David Krycer on double bass, Phil Smith on electric bass, STAX on didge and David Hicks / John Perri / Anthony Baker / Peter Whitford on drums. She also works regularly with Maria Forde and Janette Geri, Michelle Chandler and Chloe Hall - all brilliant singer-songwriter guitarists in their own rights) - see Other groups for details.
